VQ serves breakfast in London 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While most breakfast spots close their kitchens by noon, we keep ours running around the clock.
Fancy a full English at 3am? No problem. Eggs benedict before the sun comes up? We’ve got you. A proper breakfast at a sensible hour? Plenty of tables available.
We’ve been one of London’s favourite breakfast spots since 1995, when we opened as the city’s first 24-hour restaurant on the Fulham Road. Nearly 30 years later, we’re still serving the same quality food at midnight as we do at midday. Two locations in Chelsea and Bloomsbury mean you’re never far from a good breakfast in central London, whatever time hunger strikes.
Finding places for breakfast in London that serve beyond mid-morning can be frustrating. Hotel restaurants have their cut-off times. Cafes switch to lunch menus. Most restaurants don’t open until noon. VQ fills that gap. Whether you’re coming off a night shift, catching an early flight, or simply keeping unusual hours, you can eat breakfast whenever you want it.
The full English is the most popular breakfast in the UK for good reason. Ours comes with all the trimmings: bacon, sausages, eggs cooked your way, baked beans, grilled mushrooms, tomatoes, and toast. It’s a proper plate of food, the kind that sets you up for the day or helps you recover from the night before.
We don’t cut corners. The bacon is quality, the sausages are meaty, and the eggs are cooked to order. Whether you want them fried, scrambled, or poached, we’ll do them the way you like. Add black pudding or hash browns if you want the full works. It’s the same generous portion whether you order at 8am or 2am.
A typical London breakfast has always centred on the full English, and we do it properly. This isn’t hotel breakfast buffet food sitting under heat lamps. Everything is cooked fresh when you order it. That’s been our approach since day one, and it’s why people keep coming back.
Beyond the full English, our breakfast menu covers all the classics. Eggs benedict, eggs royale, and eggs florentine with proper hollandaise sauce on toasted English muffins. Fluffy American pancakes with maple syrup, berries, or bacon. French toast dusted with cinnamon and sugar. Avocado on sourdough toast for something lighter.
If you prefer to build your own, we offer individual items so you can create exactly what you’re craving. Extra bacon, a side of mushrooms, another round of toast. Our menu is designed to be flexible because we know everyone has their own idea of the perfect breakfast.
Vegetarian and vegan options are available throughout the menu. Veggie sausages, plant-based alternatives, and plenty of egg-free choices. We want everyone to find something they’ll enjoy, whatever their dietary preferences.
London never really sleeps, so why should breakfast spots close? We cater to people who don’t keep conventional hours. Night shift workers finishing at hospital. Musicians eating after late gigs. Travellers adjusting to jet lag or catching early flights. Club-goers who want something more substantial than a kebab at 4am.
Our dining room has the same atmosphere at 3am as it does at 3pm. Proper table service, a full menu, and staff who treat you well regardless of the hour. We’ve served popstars, politicians, and plenty of ordinary people who just wanted a good breakfast at an unconventional time. Everyone gets the same welcome.
Being open 24 hours means we’ve become something of an institution for certain crowds. The after-party crowd knows us. So do the pre-dawn fitness enthusiasts and the insomniacs who can’t sleep. Whatever brings you through our doors at odd hours, we’re ready with a hot meal and a comfortable place to sit.
VQ has two central London locations serving breakfast throughout their opening hours. VQ Chelsea is at 325 Fulham Road, close to King’s Road and South Kensington. VQ Bloomsbury is at 111A Great Russell Street, three minutes from Tottenham Court Road and close to Oxford Street and the British Museum. Both locations serve Full English breakfasts, eggs Benedict and Royale, pancakes, French toast, avocado on sourdough and vegetarian options, with walk-ins welcome and tables available to book. If you're looking for breakfast places in West London, we're well connected. South Kensington, Gloucester Road, Earl's Court, and Fulham Broadway tube stations are all nearby. Buses run regularly along the Fulham Road. Whether you live locally or you're visiting, getting to us is straightforward. Chelsea address: 325 Fulham Road, London SW10 9QL. Call 0203 146 6335 or email chelsea@vqrestaurants.com for bookings and enquiries.
Good breakfast deserves good coffee. You can take your time over your meal without watching the bill climb. Whether you need that first caffeine hit of the day or something to keep you going through the night, we'll keep your cup topped up. English breakfast tea for the traditionalists. Fresh juices and smoothies for those who prefer something healthier. And if your breakfast calls for something stronger, we have a full bar. Bloody Mary to start the day? Mimosa with your eggs? We don't judge, and we don't have a cut-off time.
Walk-ins are always welcome at both locations. Being open 24 hours means there's usually a table available, even during busier periods. Just turn up when you're hungry. For groups or if you want a guaranteed table at a specific time, booking ahead helps. Weekend mornings are our busiest periods, so reservations are recommended if you're coming with a crowd. Give us a call or send an email and we'll sort you out.
VQ Bloomsbury sits at 111A Great Russell Street, just minutes from Tottenham Court Road station. If you're looking for breakfast near Soho after a night out in the West End, we're perfectly placed. Walk from Leicester Square, Covent Garden, or Oxford Street and you'll be at our door in under ten minutes. The location also makes us popular with tourists staying in central London hotels. Instead of paying hotel prices for a mediocre buffet, people walk over to us for a proper cooked breakfast at fair prices. We're just across from the British Museum, so you can fuel up before a day of sightseeing. Bloomsbury address: 111A Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3NQ. I was looking for an American Diner type option and found it! They are open 24 hours which makes them very convenient. When we walked in at the time, the place was empty. But after talking to the staff (which was very friendly), it appears this place caters to more of a late night crowd. Regardless, my wife and I decided to grab a late breakfast here and were quite pleased. Some eggs, bacon, and toast. Everything hit the spot.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend this lovely place, with very friendly and accommodating staff. They served us a gorgeous breakfast and were very understanding and patient with us (a group of nearly 40!) even though we arrived late. Thank you very much!Posted on Google![]()

Posted on Google![]()
