When everywhere else has closed, VQ is open. We serve late night food in London 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
While most restaurants shut their kitchens by 11pm, we keep ours running through the night. Fancy a proper meal at 2am? No problem. Full menu at 4am? We’ve got you covered.
We’ve been feeding London’s night owls since 1995, when we opened as the city’s first 24-hour restaurant on the Fulham Road. Nearly 30 years later, we’re still here, still open, and still serving quality late-night food when you need it most. Two locations in Chelsea and Bloomsbury mean you’re never far from a hot meal, whatever the hour.
Finding late-night restaurants in London that serve more than bar snacks or fast food isn’t easy. After midnight, your options narrow to kebab shops, chicken joints, and whatever’s left on room service menus at hotels. We think you deserve better than that. VQ offers proper sit-down dining with table service and a full menu, available whenever you walk through the door.
Our full menu runs 24 hours. The same food that’s popular at lunch is available at 3am. Full English breakfasts for those craving something substantial. Eggs benedict, pancakes, and waffles for a sweeter option. Burgers, steaks, pasta, and salads if you want something more filling.
Late night snacks like chips, nachos, and sharing plates if you want something lighter. Comfort food classics like mac and cheese, club sandwiches, and crispy duck wraps. Whatever you’re in the mood for after a night out, we’ve probably got something to satisfy.
Vegetarian and vegan options available throughout the menu. We know dietary requirements don’t stop after midnight. Same quality, same choice, same prices whether you visit at noon or at night.
Most London restaurants close their kitchens by 10pm or 11pm. Even in areas known for nightlife, finding somewhere to eat a proper meal after midnight is surprisingly difficult. Hotels charge premium prices for limited room service menus. Fast food chains offer convenience but not quality. Late-night food in London shouldn’t mean compromising.
VQ stays open through the night because we know London doesn’t sleep. Night shift workers need somewhere to eat after their shifts. Club-goers want something more than a greasy takeaway on the way home. Early morning travellers need breakfast before catching flights. We cater to all of them, every night of the year.
Being open 24 hours isn’t just a gimmick. It’s been our approach since day one. The same staff, the same standards, the same welcoming atmosphere whether you come in at peak dinner time or in the small hours. That consistency is what keeps people coming back.
VQ Chelsea is the original location, where we've been serving late night food since 1995. We're at 325 Fulham Road, between South Kensington and Fulham Broadway. For anyone in West London looking for somewhere to eat after midnight, we're the obvious choice. The Chelsea neighbourhood knows us well. We've fed generations of locals over three decades, from students to celebrities. When everywhere else on the Fulham Road has closed, our lights are still on and our kitchen is still cooking. That reliability has made us an institution. Chelsea address: 325 Fulham Road, London SW10 9QL. Call 0203 146 6335 or email chelsea@vqrestaurants.com.
Late night food goes well with a drink, and we have a full bar available around the clock. Wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits. Whether you want to continue the night with another drink or you need something to wash down your meal, we've got options. Fresh juices and soft drinks for those taking it easy. We don't have a last call because we don't close. Order what you like, when you like.
London has plenty to offer after dark, but finding somewhere to eat becomes the challenge. Clubs stay open late, bars serve until the early hours, but restaurants largely shut down. At VQ, you can finish your night with a proper meal instead of settling for whatever's still serving. Midnight feasts are something of a tradition for our regulars. Groups coming in after gigs, couples ending their date night properly, friends who lost track of time and suddenly realised they were starving. We've seen it all, and we welcome everyone. At 4am in London, your options are even more limited. We're one of the few places where you can sit down, be waited on, and eat something that was actually cooked fresh for you. No heat lamps, no rushed service, no pressure to leave. Stay as long as you like.
For late night food, walk-ins are almost always fine. After midnight, we rarely have a wait. Just turn up when you're hungry and we'll find you a table. No need to book, no need to call ahead. If you're planning a late night gathering with a larger group, giving us a ring can help us prepare. But for couples, small groups, or solo diners, just come in whenever suits you. Our doors are open, and so is our kitchen.
VQ Bloomsbury sits at 111A Great Russell Street, just minutes from Tottenham Court Road station. If you're looking for late night food near Soho after a night in the West End, we're perfectly positioned. Walk from Leicester Square, Covent Garden, or Oxford Street and you'll be at our door in under ten minutes. Central London late-night dining options are limited, which is why we've become a popular destination for the after-hours crowd. Theatre staff unwinding after shows. Musicians eating post-gig. Bar workers finishing their shifts. Anyone who's been out in Soho, London and needs proper food before heading home. The Night Tube makes getting to us easy even after regular services stop. We're also well served by night buses if you're coming from further afield. Whatever time you finish your night out, you can reach us. Bloomsbury address: 111A Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3NQ. Call 0203 146 6334 or email bloomsbury@vqrestaurants.com.

I was looking for an American Diner type option and found it! They are open 24 hours which makes them very convenient. When we walked in at the time, the place was empty. But after talking to the staff (which was very friendly), it appears this place caters to more of a late night crowd. Regardless, my wife and I decided to grab a late breakfast here and were quite pleased. Some eggs, bacon, and toast. Everything hit the spot.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend this lovely place, with very friendly and accommodating staff. They served us a gorgeous breakfast and were very understanding and patient with us (a group of nearly 40!) even though we arrived late. Thank you very much!Posted on Google![]()

Posted on Google![]()

VQ has two 24-hour restaurants in London: Chelsea (325 Fulham Road) and Bloomsbury (111A Great Russell Street, near Tottenham Court Road). Chelsea serves our full menu around the clock, and Bloomsbury does the same from Thursday to Sunday.
VQ Chelsea and VQ Bloomsbury are both open after midnight, serving proper sit-down meals rather than just bar snacks. We’re one of the few restaurants in London where you can get a full meal at any hour of the night.
Whatever you fancy. Our late night regulars love burgers, full English breakfasts, comfort food like mac and cheese, and crispy duck wraps. But our entire menu is available 24 hours, so you can have steak, salad, pancakes, or waffles at 3am if that’s what you’re after.
At 4am, most of London has shut down. VQ is one of the few places open, serving proper food with table service. Whether you’re finishing a night out, starting an early morning, or just keeping unusual hours, we’re here with a hot meal and a comfortable place to sit.
Yes, VQ Bloomsbury is a short walk from Soho, just off Tottenham Court Road. It’s popular for late night food after a night out in the West End. Open 24 hours.
Walk-ins are usually fine for late night visits. We rarely have a wait after midnight. Just turn up when you’re hungry.
VQ Chelsea is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. VQ Bloomsbury is open 24 hours from Thursday 6:30am to Sunday midnight, and 6:30am to midnight Monday to Wednesday. Our full menu is available at all times, including Christmas, New Year, and bank holidays.
We’re a proper restaurant, not a takeaway or fast food joint. Table service, a full menu, quality food cooked fresh, and a comfortable place to sit. The same experience at 3am as you’d get at 3pm. We’ve been doing this since 1995.
